Midland Archeological Society is an affiliation of the Texas Archeological Society and the Archeological Society of New Mexico and upholds the standards set by these organizations as well as well as Federal and State Antiquity Laws.
Midland Archeological Society is also a Founding member of the Southwestern Societies of Western Texas and Southeastern New Mexico.
Regular Meetings: Meetings are regularly held on the first Thursday of each month, September through May. Meetings are not held during the summer June, July, and August. Meetings are held at 7:30 P.M., at the Sibley Learning Center, 1300 East Wadley, Midland Texas. Notifications of a meeting change will be made if it conflicts with a holiday or special programming event.
Membership: Midland Archeological Society membership consists of a monthly meeting with a program and opportunities to attend field trips, do lab projects and surveys as well as notification of other archeological events in Texas and New Mexico.
Annual dues: Individual $15.00, Family $20.00, Student $3.00.
It's that time again to renew your membership in the Midland Archeological Society. Our Society intends to maintain high quality quest speakers, and since many of them are from out of town, your dues will be used to help pay their way.
There are also plans being made for some interesting field trips and seminars in the upcoming season.
You won't want to miss out on these activities; please complete the membership form and either mail it or come to the meeting and give it to our Treasurer, Richard Rose. Annual dues are $15 for single membership, $20 for a family membership and $3 for student membership.
